Privacy Policy

GAGING AI LTD (“GAGING”, “we”, “us”) operates the GAGING mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using GAGING, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in (via Google and/or Apple), we receive your name and email address to create and secure your account.
- Health & activity data. With your permission, GAGING reads activity data from Apple Health — such as steps, stand hours, and workouts — to power your daily habits and progress. We only access the data types you approve, and you can turn access off at any time in the iOS Settings app.
- Photos you provide. If you choose to create an avatar, you can provide a selfie, which we use solely to generate your in-app avatar. The selfie is deleted from our servers once your avatar has been created.
- Purchase information. When you buy coins or subscriptions, the transaction is handled by Apple. We receive a validated purchase receipt from Apple to unlock your purchase; we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage & diagnostic data. We collect app usage events and basic device/technical information to understand how the app is used and to improve it.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the app;
- To personalize your experience, including generating your avatar and tracking your habits;
- To process and validate your purchases;
- To analyze usage and improve our features;
- To keep the app secure and prevent abuse;
- To respond to your support requests.
Apple Health data
Information GAGING accesses through Apple Health (HealthKit) is used only to provide features inside the app. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for those purposes.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf — including Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting and database), Google and Apple (sign-in), our avatar-generation provider (to create your avatar), and PostHog (product analytics);
- Apple, which processes your purchases;
- Legal & safety — where required by law or to protect our rights and users;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. As noted above, the selfie you provide is deleted once your avatar is generated. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, except where we must retain it for legal reasons.
Your choices & rights
- Turn off Apple Health access at any time in the iOS Settings app;
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in the App Store;
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (see below).
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK or California), you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any of these, contact us at support@gaging.ai.
Deleting your account & data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app — open Settings and choose to delete your account. If you need help, email support@gaging.ai.
Children
GAGING is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
